                Life has to go on and so with the mission of the Office of Public Affairs!

                Dogged with the spirit of joy and desire to continually serve despite the challenges of the Pandemic, the ever-dynamic Director of the Office of Public Affairs Dr. Reneecilia B. Paz De Leon, in collaboration with the Head of Alumni Affairs, Mr. Ernan De Jesus, Head of Linkages, Mr, Jonas Ynares, Prof. Arminda Campo, Head of Media and Publication and other units of the Research Development, Extension and Production Division successfully thrived to Offer, Provide and Assist in the education of the mind and heart  of people of all ages from various service areas of the University.

                A myriad of Webinars as distinctly labelled was successfully hosted by OPA for the benefits of various stakeholders all over the Province of Rizal.

                Aside from the e-learning opportunities provided on board through various e-platforms, OPA with URS Angono and UCCA as co-proponents pioneered a Capacity Building on Poetry Writing and Poetry Recitation contest with the theme “Celebrating Nature’s Biodiversity Amidst Global Pandemic” last October 1, 2020. With the different campuses in collaboration, OPA partnered with Accenture Philippines through Ms Coleen E. Vicente in pioneering the first ever Virtual Teachers’ Day celebration last November 13, 2020. The event highlighted the theme “URS: Leading in Crisis, Reimagining the Future.

                An octave of its program culminated with a Virtual Health and Wellness event dubbed as “Swaying Away Covid through Taktak Challenge” last December 18, 2020 with the Medical Team as collaborators. Dr. Edna C. Maycacayan and Ms. Yvette Sacramento served as the resource speakers.
