Office of Public Affairs Facilitates Capacity Building Projects

Dogged with the spirit of joy and desire to continually serve despite the challenges of the Pandemic, Dr. Reneecilia B. Paz De Leon, with the full support of Mr. Renato Allen Casas, Head, Local Linkages, Mr. Ernan De Jesus in collaboration with the Head of Alumni Affairs, Mr. Ernan De Jesus, Head of Linkages, Mr, Jonas Ynares, Prof. Arminda Campo, Head of Media and Publication and other units of the Research Development, Extension and Production Division successfully thrived to Offer, Provide and Assist in the education of the mind and heart  of people of all ages from various service areas of the University.

The Office of Public Affairs is serious on its advocacies relating to Image Building, Local Linkaging, Publication, Strengthened Alumni Affairs, and support to the varying operational units of the University particularly in the advertisement, promotion, airing and facilitation of forging partnerships with other institutions both in the local, national and international level.

Just like the previous years, e-learning opportunities as evidenced by the reel of documentary pictures at the other side were provided through the support of collaborators of stakeholders from within and outside the University.

Capacity Webwriteshop in the development of Campus flyers were inspired by the sharing and expertise of Director Rennie Mae De Lemon, Prof. Jeffrey Azor, Dr. Batch Natano, Prof. Gian Carlo Francisco and Prof. Fernan Natividad.

Another octave of its accomplishment is articulated by the continuing program dubbed as “Balikabayanihan, a micro-business training”, a partnership program with the National Economic and Environment Authority (NEDA) region IV. The program has undoubtedly benefitted a big number of families of repatriated OFWs from all over the country.
