With the Micro-Hydro Power Turbine Testing Center’s goal of developing a hydro-testing laboratory to cater to the needs of the research, industry and education sectors, the Center opens its doorways among various stakeholders in the testing of various types of micro-hydro power turbines.
As per the Head of the MHPTTC, Engr. Ver Ian Victorio, after the launched of the Micro Hydro Power Turbine Testing Center on November 27, 2017, targets have been set towards the Establishment of the MHP Test Rig, Establishment, Testing and Operation of a Community-managed MHP Project in Brgy. Cayabu, Tanay, Rizal, Province.
Early December of 2020, the MHP Team with the assistance of VP Marites M. Rio revised a concept paper for the proposed establishment of the Hydropower Energy Research and Development Center (HYPERD Center) based on the evaluation and rebuttal of the committee of DOST-PCIEERD.
