Challenged by the reality that the University extends support in the name of community development and empowerment, the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement with Paraiso de Avedad finally happened on September 7, 2023. The Micro Hydro Power Turbine Testing Center (MHPTTC) under the headship of Engr. Roy Andrada laid its card to render service in the development of the Pico Hydropower Plant in the community of Paraiso de Avedad in San Pablo City in the province of Laguna.
The pioneering team composed of Engr. Roy Andrada, Engr. Angeluzel Tonido, Engr. Merie Ann Dudang, Engr. Ver Ian Victorio and Prof. Eugene SF Tia have started to set the tone in view of the research that needs to be conducted first before the development proper of the project.
