- Plan, supervise, coordinate and evaluate performance of all finance sections and units in the University;
- Recommend improvement and modification of existing policies and procedures on financial and budgeting;
- Evaluate the financial aspects of the submitted proposals;
- Supervise the collection of income and proceeds from income generating projects;
- Review disbursements of funds subject to COA rules and regulations;
- Initiate internal check and preliminary audit;
- Supervise the maintenance of financial records necessary for effective control of the current operating budget; and,
- Perform other functions that may be delegated by superiors.
