Water Samples from Various Campuses Tested

With the noble intent of securing quality water intake in the service areas of the University, the Food Testing Laboratory collected eighteen (18) water samples from various campuses and analyzed considering different  parameters (54 tests). Apart from water testing, 176 tests were conducted for food samples from faculty and student researchers.

Prof. Eugene SF. Tia, Head of the Food Testing Laboratory, has consistently framed  targets in the optimization of the services of the FTL but due to the restrictions of the pandemic, the operation of the Food Testing Laboratory has been limited but the provision of assistance continued via active responses on queries posted online through the FTL Facebook page.  It is a way that is believed to serve assistance to stakeholders more particularly among the students who are undergoing research activities.

Presently, the FTL is done with the facility enhancement and has further articulated its operability and services with the availability of additional equipment as shown in the pictures.
