VISION

CALABARZON GAD Resource Center is for women empowerment on gender equality towards sustainable development of a gender-responsive society.

MISSION

The Center is committed to institutionalize the capacity of every sector in the region towards mainstreaming gender concerns through planning, policy analysis, training and development, research, extension, monitoring and evaluation, linkages, resource generation.

OBJECTIVES

To serve as repository of GAD-related materials such as advocacy and Information and Education and Communication (IEC) materials, publication and tools, multi-media, gender statistics, research studies and directory of GAD experts.
To provide technical assistance to concerned regional, provincial, Line Agencies, LGUs, SUCs and other NGOs/POs, toward developing their abilities for GAD mainstreaming.
To develop and continually support the capacities of trainers, resource persons, advocates and service provider on GAD, also design and implement client-responsive GAD training.
To conduct GAD related researches and mapping of existing and showcasing new initiatives on GAD.
To coordinate the planning and implementation of integrated regional GAD related programs and activities in academic, research, extension, monitoring and evaluation, policy, advocacy, linkages, training and development programs.
To serve as venue for regular/special meetings of concerned regional, provincial, Line Agencies, LGUs, SUCs, GAD Committee and other NGOs/POs.
