With the challenge faced by Universities in leveraging technology mentoring to their faculty members and students’ technological, pedagogical, and technological knowledge, especially on the developed outputs or products of research, the Production Services unit advocated to institutionalize the URS Technology and Innovation Pitch Day. With the event conducted on October 20, 2023, at the URSM Audio Visual Education center, a tradition has been set to encourage more researchers to work on researches with potential IPs for commercialization. Winners are recognized and given certificate and cash prize.
