Internationalization has no doubt attracted a more diverse opportunity for both people and institutions to advance productivity goals in various spheres. This is why URS delightfully thanked the Philippine American Academy of Science and Engineering (PAASE) with its President, Dr. Mariano Sto. Domingo for the opportunity to benchmark the top universities in Kaohsiung, Taiwan last May 7-12, 2023. Dr. Yong Chau Su of Edu-Connect Southeast Asia Kaohsiung facilitated the coordination and organized the itinerary of the visit to the National Changhua University for Education, Kaohsiung Medical University, National YunLin University for Science and Engineering and National Kaohsiung University in Science and Technology; all in Kaohsiung Taiwan.
President Nancy T. Pascual, VP Marites M. Rio of Research Development, Extension and Production, and Dir Rennie Mae De Lemon of the University Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Office joined the Teams from Eastern Visayas State University and University of the Philippines Los Banos. The university visit significantly provided all the participants with a rewarding learning experience that inspired planning for future collaboration and partnership.
