In recognition of the invaluable efforts exerted during the ISO recertification held last April 27–28, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐉. 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨 was given the 𝐎𝐧-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 during the Executive Committee meeting on June 1, 2023 at the Office of the President, University of Rizal System, Morong Campus.
Prof. Mercado is the Campus Director and Dean of the Graduate School, URS Rodriguez, in concurrent capacity as ISO Chairperson.
According to the URS PRAISE Manual, the URS PRAISE shall give emphasis on the timeliness of giving awards or recognition. Aside from the conferment of awards during the traditional or planned awarding ceremonies, the spirit of the on-the-spot grant of recognition shall be institutionalized.
Dr. Nancy T. Pascual, the University President together with Dr. Renato F. De Lemon, VP for Administration and Finance, and Mr. Benjie G. Ingco, Director of Finance Services, handed over the award.
