INDIGENOUS. URS and NCIP enter into a MOA in the service of our indigenous people.
The MOA signing was led by President Nancy Pascual as the main representative of URS while Regional Director Carlos Buasen, Jr. represented NCIP. Joining them were key officials from both sides.
The MOA was signed as support for the Community Awareness, Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (YAKAP) and Delivering Access to Quality Learning Opportunities to Marginalized CommunitY (DALOY) extension projects which aim to improve the quality of life of the Dumagats living within the Province of Rizal.
While the effectivity of the MOA is only for five years, both sides have given their commitment to continuously work with each other to protect the rights of and assist the indigenous people in Rizal. ~ RAA Casas
