The University of Rizal System Commencement Exercises for 2022 was held virtually on July 25. The ceremonies were being held for the graduates of academic years 2019-2020 and 2021-2022.
Hon. Gov. Nina Ricci Alcantara Ynares, Governor, Province of Rizal, served as the Commencement Speaker for the event.
Gov. Ynares is an alumna of the Assumption – Antipolo in Antipolo City. She is a graduate of Business Management from the De la Salle University, Manila and took Law in the San Beda University, also in Manila.
She was a member of the Audit Committee, the Legal Oversight Committee and the Board of Trustees of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) from December 2016 – 2021. She was also the Director of the Manila Hotel, 2016 – 2021. The governor also led the Binangonan Federation of Junior Women’s Club from 1996 to 2001.
She was born on October 20, 1970. She is married to Mr. James Sam Anderson Chiongbian II. The couple has two sons named James Roy and Casimiro IV. Hon. Nina Ricci Alcantara Ynares is the daughter of former governors of the Province of Rizal Casimiro “Ito” Ynares, Jr. and Rebecca “Nini” Ynares. // ~ABCampo
