The University of Rizal System emerged victorious with the winning of Dr. Marites M. Rio, Vice-President for Research, Development, Extension and Production who was recognized by the Philippine Extension and Advisory Services Network, Inc. (PhilEASNet) as the Outstanding Extension Practitioner for the Calendar Year 2021 held during the 2021 Virtual PhilEASNet Biennial AFFNR Extension Symposium, October 14-, 15, 2021.
The activity was attended by extension project implementers from various agencies. The honor was granted to individuals whose creative outputs, commitment and dedication to service to clientele are noteworthy. The impact of performance on clients served and the participation in institutional activities were also given due consideration. Dr Rio received a plaque and cash award.
It is in the same event that VP Tet Rio was also nominated and given the opportunity to hold a seat in the governing body as member of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Extension and Advisory Services Network, Inc. (PhilEASNet).
