URSM Dominates Founding Anniv ‘24

URS-Morong Campus bested all other campuses in the recently concluded URS Culture and Arts Festival held during the University Foundation Day held at its home campus on August 7-9.

A culture and arts competition consisting of visual, dance, music, and performing arts highlighted the event. The visual arts competition consisted of on-the-spot poster making, pencil drawing, charcoal rendering, painting, and a photo contest. The dance category consisted of contemporary and folk dances. The musical aspect included the bandurria, guitar, violin, and piano solo instruments playing, while the kundiman, pop solo, duet singing contests, and a live band competition were held. The performing arts included short and sweet plays and radio drama.

Similarly, the Festival King and Queen contest was held.

Morong Campus came in first with a total score of 81; seconded by Angono Campus garnering a total of 74; followed by Pililla Campus with an overall score of 65. Rodriguez campus came in fourth with a win of 55 total score; while Antipolo Campus came in fifth with a score of 49. //
