URSB Conquers JPIA, PICPA Tilts

             The College of Accountancy of the University of Rizal System Binangonan Campus achieved another milestone as four of its students gained a ranking in two different representations.

One of these is the top 25 audit interns among the 519 aspirants from NCR and Region 4 who excelled in the interview and passed the test. It was announced by the National Federation JPIA Region IV on January 19. Included in the ranking are Althea Discutido (Top 7) and Ernielyn Sexiona (Top 25).

Similarly, several URSB Accounting students were placed in the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Rizal Chapter Accounting Quiz Bowl conducted on January 22. Dexter Lilang placed 3rd on the basic level and Janelle Biteranta also placed 3rd on the intermediate level. The University was also given an award as the Top Performing School during the event. The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA) is the only national organization of accountancy students accredited by the Philippine Institute of Certified  Public Accountants (PICPA).
