URS Honors 184 Personnel, 11 Units in 17th PRAISE

The University of Rizal System (URS) honored 184 faculty and staff and 11 organizational units including one center and a college as it held its 17th Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Awards at the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Tanghalang Sining (EARTS) URS Morong Campus on September 29.

The honorees include a total of 89 loyalty awardees, 20 service awardees, 15 career and self-development awardees, one best administrator, one exemplary behavior awardee, two outstanding staff, and 45 research and extension awardees. Also included are one high-performing institute, seven top performer courses in board and other government examinations, two best organizational units including one best college and one best administrative unit, and one highperforming center.

Themed “Transforming Public Servants Toward Resiliency,” the awarding ceremony is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1050, series of 1997 declaring the month of September as the Civil Service Month. The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is spearheading the celebration of the 122nd Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service in 2022.
