The duo of Cherryl Dimayuga and Angelica Cartasano from the University of Rizal System triumphed in the Vocal Duet Competition at the 8th STRASUC Culture and the Arts Festival.
Competing against 10 other pairs, they earned the gold on November 27 at the EARTS URS – Morong. The silver medal was awarded to Francine Nicole Doroin and Andrea Permejo of MarSU. At the same time, Aaron Jeff Dela Peña and Roberto Esparas from Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC) captured the bronze. Mindoro State University (MinSU) and Cavite State University (CavSU) finished 4th and 5th, respectively. //JC
