The University of Rizal System (URS), having been designated as the host institution of the CALABARZON Gender and Development (GAD) Resource Center for 16 years, has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Municipality of Baras, Rizal relative to strengthening and implementing GAD-related programs, training, and capability-building activities.
Being the host institution, URS provides services to regional and provincial line agencies, local government units, state universities, and colleges, as well as non-governmental and private organizations in order to pursue and assist in the implementation of programs, projects, and activities relative to GAD. On the other hand, Baras LGU will support URS in the implementation of GAD programs in the community and improve the capability of the municipal GAD focal point system and members.
