Two faculty researchers from URS published their research on freshwater clam in a refereed journal.
The challenge of research publication is always a nerve-breaking endeavor but with the kind of perseverance Engr. Romeo C. Pati and Engr. Rosalinda G. Brasos manifested, they successfully nailed to publish their paper titled “Traces of Heavy Metals and Health Risk of Freshwater Asian Clam (Corbicula fluminea) Consumption From Two Sites in Laguna Lake Philippines.”
The paper was published in Pollution Research Journal with Scopus index 23.00; ISSN: 0257-8050; Impact Factor Rating of 4.93; NAAS India; Volume 40 (May Supplement) : 2021 pp. S1-S10.
They were given University assistance of $400 and an incentive under Level B – International (ISI and other Indexed Publications) as per the stipulation in the Research Operations Manual.
