This year’s Culture and Arts Festival King and Queen competition was held at the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Tanghalang Sining at the URS-Morong Campus on August 9. The event coincides with the 23rd Founding Anniversary of URS.
Representatives from the 10 campuses showed their might and mettle to outwin each other in the different categories of the contest. Major and minor awards were later given. For the minor awards, Festival Congeniality King went to Mr. Tanay and Mr. Rodriguez while Festival Congeniality Queen went to Ms. Angono. People’s Choice award went to Mr. Angono and Ms. Cardona. Mister and Ms. Photogenic was won by Mr. Taytay and Ms. Antipolo.
For the major awards, Best in Pageant Attire went to Mr. Tanay and Mr. Antipolo; Best in Swimwear went to Mr. and Ms. Antipolo; while Best in Formal Wear went to Mr. Pililla and Ms. Taytay.
Overall, second runners-up were obtained by Mr. Antipolo and Ms. Taytay; first runners-up went to Mr. and Ms. Morong; with this year’s Festival King and Queen won by Mr. Taytay and Ms. Antipolo. //
