The URS Academic Council approved the proposed School Year 2020 – 2021 URS Calendar during its 32nd University Academic Council held on June 10 via Microsoft Teams video teleconference.
Enrolment for the Graduate School is set on July 20 – August 28, classes start August 29 and ends on December 12 for the first semester. Second-semester enrolment is on December 22, 2020 – January 8, 2021, classes start January 9, 2021, and ends on April 24, 2021, for the second semester. Enrolment for the inter – semester classes will be on May 11 – June 5, 2021. Classes will be from June 5 – July 24, 2021.
Enrolment for the College Department is set on June 15 – July 15, classes start August 24 and end on December 12 for the first semester. Second-semester enrolment is on December 22, 2020 – January 8, 2021, classes start
January 9, 2021, and ends on April 24, 2021, for the second semester. Enrolment for the inter-semester classes will be on May 11 – June 4, 2021. Classes will be from June 7 – July 23, 2021.
Enrolment for the Laboratory Schools is set on July 1 – July 31, classes start August 24 and end on November 13 for the first semester. The second semester resumes on January 4, 2021, and ends on May 6, 2021, for the second semester.
Likewise, the Technical Working Group to Prepare Guidelines on the New Learning Environment under the New Normal presented their propositions during the council meeting.
The proposals are subject to final approval by the URS Board of Regents (BOR) come to the Second Quarter BOR Meeting.
