The University of Rizal System-Rodriguez (URS-Rodriguez) held its annual oath-taking ceremonies at the Pedro S. Cuerpo (PSC) grounds on September 23. Representing various student organizations, the leaders pledged their commitment to serve the University.
A total of 260 student-leaders, with their advisers, were present during the event. Seventeen student organizations were accredited and re-accredited namely: University Supreme Student Government, COA Student Council, COB Student Council, COE Student Council, CSWCD Student Council, Junior Finance Executives (JFINEX), Junior Marketing Management Association (JMMA), Junior Secretarial Society Incorporated (JSSI), Human Resource Executive Management Society (HREMS), Guild of English Majors (GEM), Kapisanan ng May Kaalaman sa Kasaysayan (KKK-HO), Kapulungan ng Mag-aaral sa Filipino (KaMFil), Society of Brilliant Enthusiastic Educators (SBEEd), Society of United Mathematicians (SUM), College Society of Social Work Organization (CSSWO), Sports Organization, and SinagTala – CCAR.
Dr. Florante Mercado, Campus Director, and officers from the University Student Supreme Government (USSG) and college student councils led the ceremonies. Dr. Mercado highlighted the significance of leadership roles and encouraged students to embrace challenges. The ceremony also saw the launch of Pamitinan News and Public Affairs, adding a new dimension to student involvement at the University.
