RDEP Champions Faculty Professional Enhancement Program

PEP or Professional Enhancement Program for the people in any workplace is always a leader’s top-most advocacy as it is a way to motivate people to grow and persist in acquiring knowledge and competencies and expand one’s horizon towards developing and thriving over future challenges and opportunities.

The most successful people in the world understand that they must continue learning to be successful. As usually highlighted by VP Marites Rio in her messages, “For us to live life to the fullest, we must continually look for learning opportunities and ways by which we can improve ourselves so that we can bridge better services.”

It is basically the very premise of the active participation of the RDEP prime movers in various    trainings, fora, seminars and a number of webinars with the very strict observance of the health and safety protocols.

Below summarizes the RDEP-related activities participated by the faculty of the university:

The RDEP Champs believe that attending Professional Enhancement Programs (PEP) through conferences, summits, workshops and seminars have positive impacts to every professional.

PEP offers an opportunity to develop new professional relationships, meet new friends, gain knowledge and become more productive in the discharge of one’s duties.

Reasons to Attend Conferences and Workshops:

  1. Networking Opportunities: Building new relationships and meeting new contacts is important to personal and organizational growth. Relationships with stakeholders, clients, speakers and counterparts both from the internal and external environ can help you gain knowledge from having meaningful conversations with them. 2. Learning Something New: Learning about new and more effective ways to accomplish things and gaining more knowledge about subjects and concepts are all benefits of attending professional development workshops.
  2. Becoming an Expert Professional: Professional Enhancement Program enables you to gain more expertise in your field and develop new ideas on ways to improve in your job. 4. Gaining Inspiration: Meeting new people and learning new things often leads to great feelings of inspiration. You will want to share this new enthusiasm with people especially in the work place. 5. Having fun: Attending Professional Enhancement Program through trainings, workshops and seminars are usually very fun. It’s a way of temporarily being “excused” from the usual routinary works so as to improve yourself in the context of seeing how you relate and connect with other people who in one way or the other share their interests and passions.
