Dr. Charlton Pepaño of the College of Industrial Technology bagged 3rd place in the Regional PSA Quiz Bee held at the Philippines Statistics Agency (PSA) Region IV-A Office, Lipa City, Batangas on September 22.
Dr. Pepaño represented the University of Rizal System in the said competition against nine other agencies and higher education institutions in CALABARZON. The competition was a close battle among the three winners with the representative and champion from NEDA CALABARZON scoring 40 points trailed by the 1st runner-up from UPLB scoring 39 followed by URS with 37 points. For securing third place, Dr. Pepaño was awarded a plaque of recognition along with tokens from PSA CALABARZON.
The PSA Quiz Bee is a competition held among agencies and HEIs to test the awareness and knowledge of their representatives on the social dimensions of statistics. The champion from this competition will be representing CALABARZON in the National PSA Quiz Bee. //RAAC Jr.
