The University of Rizal System Angono campus, in cooperation with Kuta Arts Space, conducted an art exhibition titled “The Surface is Always Circumnavigating” showcasing the artistic creations of selected students and professors of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Visual Communication.
Included in the exhibit are the works of selected students, professors, and Kuta artists, namely: Lady Mendiola, John Domanillo, Vinn Gatchalian, John Letrodo, Reniel Gallar, Kyle Penales, Jedric Lagrana, Rocel Fulgueras, Ahlen Batalon, John Negapatan, Benjo Avellaneda, Gwyneth Suaybaguio, Jhoza Celestra, Ray John Quiapo, Kath Sarmiento, John Osicos, Lovabelle Garme, Yohan Aharoni, Jodel Francisco, Odoi Villalon, Clarence Vargas, and Gian Francisco. The exhibit ran from January 21 to February 3 at the Kuta Arts Space gallery. Kuta Arts Space is an artists’ group composed of URS-Angono students, professors, alumni, and Angono arts enthusiasts.
The event highlighted the exploration of the various ways that things can be used as art: for the artist as an architect, for the artist as a spectator, for the artwork’s spectator, and for the world itself. ~EMBR
