A number of benefits have been granted to the faculty and staff of the University of Rizal System (URS) during the end of 2022 in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the University. These are in addition to the regular grants and benefits that they receive during the entire year.
The year-end benefits are the grants on Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) in the amount of P18,500; the Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI) in the amount of P5,000; and the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) in the amount of P10,000.
The CNA incentive is a form of reward to motivate employee efforts toward higher productivity. This was mandated thru Administrative Order (AO) No. 135, s. 2005 as supported by the Congress Joint Resolution (JR) No. 4, s. 2009. Executive Order (EO) No. 201, s. 2016 authorized the grant of the PEI for the purpose of improving government employees’ productivity. The grant of one-time SRI for the fiscal year 2022 was granted to acknowledge all public servants for their collective and unceasing participation and invaluable contribution to the establishment of streamlined government processes and responsive delivery of services to the public. The grant is supported by AO No. 45 dated December 24, 2021.//
