Kimberly Baculo from Batangas State University emerged victorious in the Pop Solo Competition at the 8th STRASUC Culture and Arts Festival, held on November 27 at the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Tanghalang Sining (EARTS), URS Morong Campus.
Baculo captivated the judges with her powerful rendition of “Ang Huling El Bimbo” by Eraserheads, outshining 10 other talented vocalists. In second place, Patricia Yunson of the University of Rizal System (URS) earned the silver medal, while Francine Nicole Doroin from Marinduque State University (MarSU) secured the bronze. Palawan State University (PSU) and Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) rounded out the top five, finishing in 4th and 5th, respectively. //JC
