The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP) Inc. recently honored URS as one of the top ranking state colleges and universities (SUCs) with the most number of programs accredited Level IV.
The list includes: 1. Cebu Technological University (CTU), 2. Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), 3. Negros Oriental State University (NOSU), 4. University of Antique (UA), 5. Visayas State University (VSU), 6. Bicol University (BU), 7. Cavite State University (CvSU), 8. Northwest Samar State University (NSSU), 9. Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC), 10. University of Rizal System (URS), 11. Isabela State University (ISU), 12. West Visayas State University (WVSU), 13. Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) and, 14.Tarlac State University (TSU).
The awarding was held at the Grand Ballroom Hall, Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila on March 6 during the 32nd AACCUP Annual Conference.
