A barometer of growth in terms of Research Development and Extension Services is the significant active engagement of faculty members of the University.
With the presentation of 11 researches and 9 extension papers during the 15th RDEP Congress held on August 24, 2021 via Google platform, the University is undoubtedly making a way to bridge better breakthroughs for the benefit of various stakeholders of the University.
Dr. Niclie L. Tiratira, Director for Research Development and Dr. Fe Esperanza T Mateo, Director for Extension tender their warm appreciation of the kind of dedication among those whom VP Marites M. Rio calls or labels as “the RDEP Champions”.
The 15th RDEP Congress was a big hit having been graced by the presence of distinct evaluators in the persons of Dr. Elenita M. Tiamzon of Word Citi Colleges, Dr. Erico Habijan of Pamantasan Lunsod ng Marikina, Dr. Emerson Galang of Far Eastern University and Dr. Ronnel Dela Rosa of Bataan Peninsula State University as evaluators for Research entries and Dr. Rolando V. Maningas of DA-ATI-CALABARZON, Dr. Marciana P. De Vera of University of Northern Philippines, Dr. Almira G. Magcawas of Cavite State University and Dr. Benedick O. Medina of Batangas State University as evaluators for Extension entries. The panel of expert evaluators objectively evaluated papers and eventually identified the Best Papers for both Research and Extension categories.
Indeed, the hurdle may not be easy for both the faculty researchers and extension project implementers but because of the coordinated and united efforts of the RDEP prime movers, the set endeavors as evidenced by the documentary pictures continually inspire more people in the academe to take a step and serve their share in the development of worthwhile projects in the name of Research Development and Extension Services.
