URS Welcomes New Faculty, Staff

Dr. Nancy Pascual, University President, administered the oath of office to newly appointed and recently promoted faculty and non-teaching staff at the URS-Morong Boardroom on July 21. The ceremony marked a significant step in bolstering the university’s administrative and academic capabilities.

The event saw a fresh wave of professionals officially join the University, ready to contribute their skills and expertise to the institution’s continued growth. Among the newly appointed non-teaching personnel are Marie Chelka San Jose, administrative officer; Amiel Albito, Brandy Natividad, and Woheh Yvonne Lagman, administrative assistants; Kristine Benavides, Vi-ann Malabanan, Jen Louise Dalope, and Cristopher Vivas, administrative aides.

Adding to the academic force of URS is Charlene Anne De Leon, who was officially sworn in as an instructor. In her address, Dr. Nancy Pascual extended a warm welcome to the new members of the URS community, emphasizing the vital role each individual plays in achieving the university’s mission and vision. She underscored the importance of commitment, integrity, and collaboration in serving the students and the broader community. The President also took the opportunity to commend the dedication of the staff who received promotions, acknowledging their hard work and continuous pursuit of excellence.

Meanwhile, on July 28, two other new instructors were appointed, adding to the URS teaching workforce. They are Jandee Dolores and Jasmin Garcia. ~
