5,246 Graduates Celebrated in Grand Commencement Exercises

The University of Rizal System (URS) will formally graduate 5,246 students across its campuses on June 19-20, 24, and 26 when it holds its graduation at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City, Ynares Center – Rodriguez, and the URS Morong Campus. The impressive number includes a diverse cohort of undergraduates, graduate school students, laboratory school completers, and senior high school graduates, all poised to contribute to various sectors of society.

The bulk of this year’s graduates hails from the undergraduate programs, with a remarkable 4,832 students completing their degrees. The Morong Campus led the undergraduate contingent with 1,399 graduates, followed by Binangonan Campus with 846, and Antipolo Campus with 482. Other campuses also contributed significantly to the undergraduate tally: Angono (444), Rodriguez (454), Tanay (466), Pililla (391), Taytay (204), and Cainta (106).

The Graduate School also saw a considerable number of students reaching the pinnacle of their academic pursuits, with 289 graduates. The Morong Campus again registered the highest number of graduate school completers at 145, followed by Pililla with 64, and Rodriguez with 57. Binangonan Campus also contributed 23 graduates to the postgraduate ranks.

Adding to the celebration were 58 completers from the URS Laboratory Schools, with Morong Campus contributing 32 and Tanay Campus 26. Furthermore, the Senior High School program at the Morong Campus will proudly graduate 67 students, marking their transition to higher education or the professional world.
