60% URS Personnel Gets Vaccine

A total of 640 out of 1071 URS faculty and staff have already been inoculated as part of the national and local government efforts to eliminate COVID-19. It was learned from the University Health Services Unit.

A total of 640 or 60% permanent, job order, contractual and part-timer vaccinated faculty and staff was recorded.

This leaves only a total of 431 or 40% faculty and staff with no vaccination as of the last week of August 2021. Regarding the students, around 6,600 out of 21,000 or 31.5% enrolled students were already injected.

The national government targets to inoculate at least 70% of the entire Philippine population at least before February 2022.
