The University of Rizal System (URS) marked a significant step forward in its commitment to the health and well-being of its students, faculty, and staff with the inauguration of its new Health and Wellness Center. The event, held on March 6, was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a solemn blessing.
The newly established Health and Wellness Center stands as a testament to the university’s proactive approach in fostering a healthy and supportive environment for its community. This dedicated space will serve as a central hub for various health-related services, programs, and initiatives aimed at promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of key university officials, including Dr. Nancy Pascual, University President; Dr. Allan Conde, Dr. Marites Rio, and Dr. Marvin Amoin, Vice Presidents; Dr. Wilhelmina Masinsin, Director, URS GAD Center; deans, and representatives from the student body and faculty association.
Following the symbolic cutting of the ribbon, a blessing ceremony was conducted by Rev. Fr. Russel Berdin of San Isidro Labrador Parish Church, Morong. The blessing invoked divine guidance and protection for the center, its staff, and all those who will benefit from its services.
