The URS Research Development Unit conducted the 2025 1st Agency In-House Review (AIHR) of Completed Research and Fullblown Extension Project Proposals on May 29 via MS Teams.
Dr. Marites Rio, Vice President for Research, Development, Extension, and Production, welcomed all participants. An inspirational message was delivered by the University President, Dr. Nancy Pascual. Prof. Ferdinand Gimeno, Campus Research and Development (R&D) Head of URS Rodriguez, acknowledged all participants present on the platform. Dr. Jerwin Mahaguay, Campus R&D Head of URS Pililla, and Dr. Lovely Celeste Benasa, Campus R&D Head of URS Cainta, introduced the panel of evaluators. This was followed by Prof. Jeremy Aterrado, Campus R&D Head of URS Morong, reading the guidelines and criteria.
Seventeen completed research projects and 85 full-blown proposals were presented, including 65 from Education, 12 from Technology and Natural Science, and 8 from Business. A panel of evaluators, composed of various experts, assessed the submissions.
Dr. Jannie Manimtim, Director of the Research Development Unit, delivered the closing remarks, concluding the program with a positive outcome, declaring 100% of the research projects qualified for the RDEP Congress. ~embr
