URS Job Fair 2024 Held

Morong, Rizal – The University of Rizal System (URS) hosted a Job Fair 2024 on May 24 under the theme “Talent Branding: Packaging Skills for the Global Market.” This event, organized by the University Office of Student Development Services (OSDS) team in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment-Public Employment Service Office (DOLE-PESO) through Mr. Louie Angelo Cruz of PESO Rizal and Ms. Abbygail Gilpo of DOLE Rizal, held at the Function Hall, URS Morong, drawing a diverse group of participants eager to explore new career opportunities.

The event was participated by 30 reputable companies from various industries, offering many employment options for fresh and soon-to-be graduates, and attended by 62 graduates and 333 URS graduating students, alongside 37 visitors who also seek job opportunities.

One of the event’s most exciting features was the on-the-spot job interviews conducted by several participating companies such as Hizon Laboratories, Inc., Cathay Pacific Steel Corp, Sanford Marketing, Inc., Philippine Severn Corporation, Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc., Onesimus Corporation, SM Supermalls, Southern Summit Life Insurance Agency, Inc., One Global Development, Inc., Sunfish Data on Philippines, Inc., Pag-asa Steel Works, Inc., Enoz Philippines, Brilliant Skin Essentials, Inc., E Luckwell Solutions, Maximum Solutions Corporation, SM Appliances Center, Monheim Distributors, Inc., Rizal Provincial Government – HRMO, iPrint, Inc., Golden Faith Academy, Ashford Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Inc., Innovatronix, Inc., Aboitiz Construction, Phil. Pinoy Job Contracting & Allied Services, Inc., LG Electronics Phils, Inc., SM Hypermarket, Philfoam, Inc., Megawide Corp, and Bicol Broadband, Inc.

This unique opportunity allowed students to immediately apply what they had learned in the workshops and potentially secure job offers on the same day. The interactive nature of the event cultivated a dynamic environment where students could network directly with employers and gain valuable insights into their desired career paths.
