In accordance with the Code of Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) Regulations, promulgated pursuant to Section 16-a of Republic Act 2067, as amended by Republic Act No. 3589 and Republic Act No. 5207, the University of Rizal System Food Analytical and Research Services Laboratory (FARSL) was granted the Radioactive Material License from the Department of Science and Technology (PNRI) on March 28, 2023, at the PNRI, Diliman, Quezon City. This license allows the university’s FARSL to acquire, receive, possess, own, and use radioactive material(s) for laboratory use.
