In compliance with the RDEP Memorandum No. 02, s. 01-2024, the Vice President for Research Development, Extension, and Production Dr. Marites M. Rio initiated the 2024 RDEP Forerunners’ Assembly and Inter-Unit/Office Thrusts (FAITH) Synthesis and Scaffolding last January 26, 2024, at the Conference Hall of RDEP Training Center, URS Tanay Campus.
Together with the unit Directors, Dr. Niclie L. Tiratira, for Research Development; Dr. Fe Esperanza T. Mateo, for Extension; and Dr. Leo C. Rio, for Production, as well as the Head of Intellectual Property Office, and Project Leader for IPTBM; enjoined by Dr. Rocan B. Pangan, Head of SANRI; Dr. Marissa F. Regalario, Head of USC; Engr. Roy C. Andrada, Head of MHPTTC, Mr. Sivan Luke Bañaga who represented RDCHIME under the leadership of Engr. Jane Maranion and Ms. Chleo Ramiro for the EEBRC.
Distinct parts of the agenda were presented at the event such as the presentation of each unit and office accomplishments for 2023, the issues and concerns addressed, 2023 Ways Forward, and the Program, Projects, and Activities each unit plans to conduct for FY 2024 which highlighted the upcoming International Multidisciplinary Research and Extension Conference for Change (IM REACH). This activity is conducted to strengthen the directions and operational thrusts of the RDEP unit this year to continue its success in providing excellent products, activities, and services.
