The University of Rizal System will honor 237 faculty members and staff and 19 academic and administrative units as it celebrates its 18th Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) awarding ceremonies at the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Tanghalang Sining, URS Morong on Friday, September 29.
A total of 119 loyalty awards, 26 service awards, 24 career, and self-development incentives, one outstanding faculty, 51 research and extension awardees, one high-performing center, ten top-performing courses in board and other government examinations, five top performers in program accreditation, and three best administrative units will be given recognition during this year’s celebration.
The awards are being given annually to encourage, recognize, and reward faculty and staff, individually and in groups, for their suggestions, innovative ideas, inventions, discoveries, superior accomplishments, heroic deeds, exemplary behavior, extraordinary acts or services in the public interest and other personal efforts which contribute to the efficiency, economy, and improvement in the government operations, which lead to organizational productivity.
The awards are in consonance with the Revised Policies on Employee Suggestions and Incentive Awards System (ESIAS) provided under CSC Resolution No. 010112 and CSC MC No. 01, s. 2001. The URS PRAISE Awards was approved under the Administrative Council Resolution No. 06-037-04. The First URS PRAISE Awards was held in September 2006 at URS-Morong. //ABC
