The University of Rizal System held its graduation ceremonies at the Ynares Center, Antipolo City on June 29-30.
This year’s graduating class was composed of 203 doctorate graduates from Binangonan, Morong, and Pililla campuses; 4,757 undergraduates of all colleges from the nine campuses including Angono, Antipolo City, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Rodriguez, Tanay, and Taytay; and 390 graduates from the senior high schools and laboratory schools from Tanay and Morong campuses for this Academic Year 2022-2023.
Batch 2023 graduates produced two summa cum laude, 10 magna cum laude, 177 cum laude from the colleges, 160 honorees from the senior high school, and 371 special awardees from all the university levels.
The graduation ceremonies were held by batch. Batch 1 which included Antipolo City, Pililla, and Taytay campuses was held at 8:00 a.m. on June 29. Meanwhile, Batch 2 graduation which was allotted for Morong Campus was held at 2:00 p.m. also on June 29. Lastly, Batch 3 graduation which included Cainta, Binangonan, and Cardona campuses was held at 8:00 a.m. on June 30.
Antipolo City Mayor Hon. Casimiro Ynares III, Philippine Senator Hon. Aimee Marcos, and Commission on Higher Education Region IV (CHEDRO IV) Director Dr. Virginia Akiate served as commencement speakers for batches 1, 2, and 3, respectively. // abc
