The Intellectual Property Office (IPO) spearheaded Project 1C. Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management (IPTBM), a 6-day webinar on Intellectual Property Rights and Registration in URS. This was held on March 21-22, 27-29, and April 13 via Zoom.
Participants are from the six campuses of URS: Morong, Cardona, Taytay, Cainta, Rodriguez, and Tanay. The seminar covered the basics of intellectual property, which includes copyright, trademark, invention patent, utility model, and industrial design.
The webinar aimed to provide knowledge to student researchers and familiarize them with the necessary information about intellectual property rights and how to register their respective IPs. Dr. Leo Rio, Head of URS-IPO, served as the resource speaker, and Danica Robles, IPO Staff, discussed the IPO process flow. ~EMB Ramos
