To provide social security coverage and protection to job order (JO) or contract of service (COS) workers in URS, the Social Security System (SSS) through its SSS On Wheels program conducted an orientation for the said workers, 9:00 am on April 5.
A total of 86 participants attended the orientation via face-to-face and online modalities.
The SSS coverage and payment of corresponding contributions will entitle said workers to the benefits and protection that SSS provides to members and their beneficiaries against the hazards of disability, sickness, maternity, old age, death, and other contingencies which result in loss of income or financial burden.
