Ceñido is JPIA’s Nat’l Ambassador of Goodwill

The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA) held the annual National Mid-Year Convention (NMYC) academic league competition for the regulatory framework and business transaction cup/quiz bee at Mezzo Hotel, Cebu City on March 22.

Students from the second year up to the fifth year from universities around the country compete to undergo the elimination round to determine the top ten finalists who will resume securing the winning spots. Mr. John Rosman Viray of URS Binangonan placed 9th out of the total 71 competitors. Another feature of the annual event is the selection of the Ambassador of Goodwill. The selection helps promote the advocacy of the winning candidate by enlisting the JPIAns as instruments of change in society. Justine Lorrenz Ceñido of URS Binangonan made it as Mr. Ambassador of Goodwill at the NFJPIA conference. Other delegates of the campus are Shiela Amor Francisco who won Ikatlong Pilak – RFBT and Mr. Lourd Andrew Catipan who won Unang Pilak – CFAS. They were joined by their coach-adviser Prof. Susan Cadiente. //
