VP Marites M. Rio heads the URS delegation in the recently concluded 35th Anniversary and 1st Regional Technology Pitch Fest of STARRDEC in partnership with CvSU RAISE Project 4. It was held on May 3, 2023 at the ICON, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite Campus. Dr. Rocan B. Pangan represented the university by pitching his research titled “Powdered Trichantera” a.k.a POWER TRIO under the Feed and Food Applications Category. Moreover, the BS Mechanical Engineering students namely Meg A. Abesa, Rolando C. Lintero, Suzette B. Tablada and Rikka Ashley F. Regalado, together with their adviser Prof. Merie Ann C. Dudang and Coach Mr. Christian Russel L. Rones bags the First Place in STAARTOK competition (a TikTok video Showcase competition) for the developed technology of their undergraduate thesis titled “Hybrid Coffee Seed Dryer”. They were awarded during the RRDCC Night.
The RRDCC Chairperson and Cavite State University President Dr. Hernando D. Robles cordially tagged as “The Fast and the Serious” by CavSU residents warmly welcomed the guests and it was graced by the keynote message of PCAARRD Executive Director Dr. Reynaldo V. Ebora who emphasized the sparkles of partnership and collaboration among the consortium member agencies which strengthened their bond and led to enormous accomplishments and attainment of its set targets and commitments to various stakeholders.
A Ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between the members of the Regional Research and Development Coordinating Council (RRDCC) also took place. President Nancy T.
