URSM Studes Win DABEST R&D Congress

Five students from the URS-Morong Campus brought home awards when they represented the University in the Second National Development Studies, Arts and Humanities, Business and Economics Education, Science and Engineering, and Technology and Innovation (DABEST) Research and Development Congress held at the Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) in Tacloban City on October 26-28.

Carl Adam Estacio, Adrian Oquendo, Wendyll Listones and Justine Renielle Bogate, BSE – Science students, won the Best Paper in the Education strand with their paper titled “Flow with Mechanics: A 7E Instructional Material in General Physics 1”. This likewise won Estacio the Best Presenter award. Meanwhile, Jean Nicole Rivera, also a BSE – Science student, won the Third B est Paper Presenter in the Science and Engineering strand with her paper titled Physics Center: Specialized Application in Waves and Optics for STEM Learners. They were coached by Prof. Jojimar Julian.
