Barraca, Batalon Shine in 60th NRYLI

The Knights of Rizal (KoR) conducted its 60th National Rizal Youth Leadership Institute (NRYLI) with the theme, Rizal in Dapitan: Systems Thinking in Action, from December 14 to 17 at the Baguio Teachers Camp, Baguio City.

OUR HOPE. Youth delegates from the University showcase their talents in the 60th National Rizal Youth Leadership Institute held in Baguio City in December.

The NRYLI aims to inculcate in the minds and hearts of the youth leaders the tenets of Rizalian leadership, character building, and socio-cultural awareness that are essential to becoming effective and responsible citizens. Aside from hosting leadership sessions, group dynamics, and team building sessions, the Institute also showcases the exceptional talents and skills of the youth through different contests such as essay writing, extemporaneous public speaking, oratorical, Rizal and history quiz, cultural makabayang sayawitan presentation, and on-the-spot painting competition. Youth leaders were invited to participate in the NRYLI Conference.

Vimuelle Barraca, fourth year BSE-English student from URS-Antipolo placed First in the oratorical contest, English category while Ken Batalon, third year Fine Arts student from the URS-Angono campus, placed Second in the on-the-spot painting contest. ~
