A total of 719 academic awards for the graduates of Batches 2022 and 2020 were given during the virtual 21st Commencement Exercises on July 25, 2022.
There were 290 awards for Latin honors and academic excellence and 219 special awards given to the graduates of Batch 2022 while there were 209 academic excellence awards given to the graduates of Batch 2020.
Academic excellence awards were granted to graduate students of Morong campus from Batch 2022 as follows: Doctor of Philosophy – 1, Master of Arts in Teaching major in English – 1, Master of Arts in Teaching major in Filipino – 1, and Master of Arts in Teaching major in Science – 1.
In the tertiary level, the Latin honors were granted to students of Batch 2022 across all courses and campuses: Morong – 2 Summa Cum Laude and 36 Cum Laude; Binangonan – 3 Magna Cum Laude and 17 Cum Laude; Antipolo – 1 Magna Cum Laude and 10 Cum Laude; Angono – 1 Magna Cum Laude and 7 Cum Laude; Cainta – 17 Cum Laude; Rodriguez – 2 Cum Laude; Tanay – 2 Cum Laude; and Cardona – 1 Cum Laude.
Academic excellence awards were given to Batch 2022 graduates of Morong and Tanay campuses’ laboratory schools. Morong’s Senior High School: With Highest Honors – 1, With High Honors – 114, With Honors – 29. Grade Level: With High Honors -6, and With Honors – 22. Tanay’s Grade Level: With High Honors – 4, and With Honors – 18.
Batch 2020 also produced academic awardees in the graduate school from three campuses as follows: Morong – one Academic Excellence, Antipolo – one Academic Excellence, and Angono – one Cum Laude.
Moreover, Morong and Tanay campuses’ laboratory schools also yielded academic awardees in 2020. Morong campus’ Senior High School: With Highest Honors – 2, With High Honors – 64, and With Honors – 97. Tanay campus’ Grade Level: With High Honors – 3, and With Honors – 13.
Special awards were also granted to the graduates of Batch 2022 in all ten campuses as follows: Angono – 40, Cainta – 39, Binangonan – 38, Morong – 33, Rodriguez – 20, Tanay – 18, Antipolo – 14, Pillilla – 9, Cardona – 6, and Taytay – 2.
The conferment of these awards was approved by the URS Board of Regents on June 20, 2022.
