20 URS Programs Conferred CHED COPC

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office IV-A (CHEDRO IV-A), headed by its Regional Director, Dr. Virginia Akiate, together with her team visited the different programs of URS with an application for Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).

COMPLIANT. The  CHEDRO-IV A  team  finds URS  programs compliant to the CMO requirements as it visits 20 of its programs.

The team was led by Dir. Akiate with Dr. Freddie Bulauan, Chief Administrative Officer; Mr. Loupel Gueta, OIC Supervising Education   Program Specialist; Dr. Judith Mary Ann Chan, OIC Chief Education Program Specialist; and the Education Supervisors, Dr. Romalyn Galingan, Mr. Victor Emil Castelo, Mr. Donald Buena Agua, Mr. Pelagio Labang, Jr., Dr. Corazon Flores, Ms. Jovine Kriselle Cuevas, and Mr. Ryan Paul Abiela.

After a thorough evaluation of the documents, 20 programs were found compliant with the minimum standards set by the CMO of the programs, hence, received the Certificate of Program Compliance as awarded by the CHEDRO. The courses given COPC are Bachelor of Science (BS) in Tourism Management and BS in Hospitality Management in Angono Campus; BS in Office Administration and BS in Business Administration in Antipolo City Campus; BS in Information Systems and BS in Information Technology in Binangonan Campus; BS in Computer Science and Bachelor in Human Services in Morong Campus; BS in Office Administration, BS in Business Administration, BS in Psychology, and BA in English Language Studies in Pililla Campus; BS in Office Administration, BS in Business Administration, and BS in Social Work in Rodriguez Campus; BS in Agriculture, BS in Tourism Management, BS in Biology major in Plant Biology, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Secondary Education in Tanay Campus.

The centralized on-site CHED technical visit for the COPC application was held at the URS Morong Campus on February 6.
