The URS – Binangonan (URSB) campus bested all other entries in the Food Category during the 11th Business Idea and Development Awards (BIDA) sponsored by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).
The entry, “Production of Seafood Pandesal” by Ma Lorraine Cernero, Lady Apostol, Ella Priscilla Gallano, Christian Ison and Zachary Ivan Gallarion of the College of Business (COB) URSB proved the best when it stood out as the Grand Winner in the Food Category during the competition. Adviser is Prof. Yolanda Vistal.
Other URSB entries also made it to the competition as the entries, “Aphrodisiac Restaurant” and “Hyrox: The Eco-friendly Rust Removing Agent” placed First Runner-up and Second Runner-up in the Service Category and Non-food Category, respectively.
Final judging was done on October 4 at PCCI while the awarding ceremonies were held on October 18 at the Manila Hotel.
