The campuses of the University of Rizal System received a safety seal from the Commission on Higher Education, Department of Health, and Department of Interior and Local Government in preparation to face-to-face classes, October 13.
Representatives from the mentioned government agencies visited the ten campuses of URS to evaluate its preparation for the face-to-face classes. The agencies assessed the readiness of the campuses for the re-opening of classes with respect to its facilities, class schedules, and adherence to health protocols. The face-to-face classes will start in the latter part of October.
In its website, DILG explains that “The Safety Seal Certification is a voluntary certification scheme that affirms that an establishment is compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government and uses or integrates its contact tracing with staysafe.ph.” (NMN / Photos by Tipolo Student Publications)
