Subject Description:
This course is on the study of indigenous materials in the country and the processes in converting it into various kinds of creative crafts. It includes the classification of the woods, kinds of rattan, fibers, origin and size of leather, bamboo craft, seashell, coconut shells and metal crafts. This course emphasizes the common hand tools and procedure in making the creative crafts. It also provides the information’s of the different products and projects that can be made out of these raw materials.
